2011 is literally hours away. Over the last two weeks, I’ve spent a great deal of time considering my writing and goals and expectations for the upcoming year. It will be 12 months of many firsts for me, publishing-wise. That particular realization is both terrifying and thrilling.

Although I don’t mind change, experiencing something for the first time can be a little intimidating. Lots of what-if scenarios can really clog down the joy of the moment. So I’ve deemed my space a No Clogging Zone, because I want to enjoy EVERY SINGLE SECOND of 2011.

To start off the year, I’m posting my business (aka author/writing) vision, mission, and goals. I may tweak these along the way as I learn more, but the list below will give me a solid foundation from which to kick-off.

Vision Statement

To write emotionally engaging historical romance novels fans will read again and again.

Mission Statement

To never disappoint my readers’ expectations, to keep readers emotionally engaged, to shock my readers at every turn of the page.
